Who Is Dooney?

That's me....Dooney, Doonita, Doonster and just recently "Doomey", a moniker give to me by Don Croft, who says I'm doom to the New World Order.

Dooney is a childhood nickname that came back into common usage when I got together with Steve Smith (Stevo), my husband. I'm just a regular person who got involved with orgonite, gifting and boosting in April of 2004.

I'm clairsentient, which means my psychic abilities come in the form of feelings, intuition and knowingness. Most of what I "see" is a feeling or a truth that comes into my awareness, and I translate it into vision so I can describe it to other people.

I've been psychic my whole life but didn't start developing my abilities until 2003, when I studied animal communication. It turns out that I'm much better at working on humans, for some reason. So as I started chatting with other Etheric Warriors and learning how to boost, I started doing healings as a natural extension of boosting.

I've studied Quantum Touch® a bit on my own, and I recommend it to everyone. It's a great way to focus healing energy. I've learned things here and there from other psychics, mostly Stevo and Carol Croft. Their help has been invaluable in my learning process.

Mostly, I work on people's chakras. I find that chakra healing leads to all kinds of other great results, including being able to boost more effectively. More detail on how I do healings and coaching is available on the Energy Coaching page.

If I can do this work, anyone can, and I encourage everyone to work on developing their psychic abilities. Doing energy work is a great way to do that. Be aware, that I'm not an all-seeing, all-powerful psychic - I don't believe anyone is. Take what I'm offering and ask yourself if it feels true to you. I'm not a guru and I don't have all the answers. What I can do is point you in a direction that just may be where you need to go.

I will do my best for you, and I ask that you do the same for yourself.

Many people have requested to have a session with me over the phone, and when I was first coaching people I did that. I found that because I'm clairsentient, it's much easier for me to be objective with a client if I am distanced from their personality. When I meet people face-to-face or talk on the phone, I'm much more likely to tune into and empathize with whatever they are feeling based on body language and tone of voice. This makes is hard for me to be objective about what I am feeling from them, since people frequently present a different picture of themselves than what they are truly feeling.

Online chatting gives me the distance I need to focus on a person's energy without the distraction of their personality. I know other psychics who have no trouble doing this in person or on the phone, but I find that for me, online chats are the best way to go.

The other reason I don't like using the phone is that it's very easy for me to be psychically attacked through someone if I am on the phone with them. The person I'm talking to usually is not aware that it's happening, but many times I have ended up with an energy cord or some other kind of energetic attack after working with someone on the phone. This can also happen while working online, but it's much less common.

So if I decline to do phone work, please don't take it personally. I just know I'm going to give you a better reading or healing if I do it online.

I get a lot of emails now so if I don't answer you for a few days, please be patient. Also, be aware that many times I don't receive emails from people trying to get in touch with me. If I don't answer you after two email attempts, try emailing Stevo, my husband, at stevo@4quantumhealing.com. Usually an email will get through to him and then he lets me know there is a problem. Once I can establish email contact one time, the problem usually goes away. One persistent person emailed five times before we were finally able to establish a connection!

I believe this happens because most of the people who email me are already developing their psychic abilites or have good psychic potential, and the other side doesn't want them to get coaching. Just keep trying, please!
